When you need a western saddle, don't automatically think that it must be a brand new one. On the Internet and at your local tack shop you can often find good used western saddles for sale.

The nice thing is that you can often find used western saddles for sale, that would be out of your price range if they were new. Quite often riders either outgrow or change interests, leaving top quality models available at reduced prices. There are usually used western saddles for sale in your local papers, and you can almost always find ads for them on the bulletin board at your local tack shops or riding stables.
